Hi everybody!
I haven’t written a diary entry in quite a long time!
Things have been going OK. I bought myself a cane a few weeks ago. It is a black aluminum cane that folds up. It’s kind of cute! I carry it in my backpack, and one would not even know it is in there. It’s quite sturdy too. I’ve been carrying it for 3 weeks, and today was my first time having to use it. It feels so weird walking around the office with my cane. Most people know I have MS, but to see me walking with a cane is weird. I put a pretty lime green bow on the top to decorate it. I find it much easier to walk with it, but it is much slower getting from point A to point B. I’ll probably get better in time.
The MS Walk was 2 weeks ago. It’s only a 5 km walk, but last year I didn’t make it to the end. This year – I made it! I completed the entire walk (eventually!). But it felt great being able to walk the entire way. I even raised over $1,000 (with the help of my Dad and my Uncle Tony and Aunt Cathy). Next year I would like to raise at least $5,000. I’m going to start now with fundraising events and activities.
Theodore (my diabetic cat) has been doing so well! We have been testing his blood glucose more frequently, and his numbers are definitely lower! I even started a blog for him at:

TGIF! Yippee, the weekend if almost here. Only 1-½ hours left to my workday, and I get to go home. Nothing exciting planned for the weekend. I’d like to do some scrapbooking and housework. And I’d like to get some rest, and perhaps watch a funny movie with Dave.
