Meow - Our Cats
Photos of our cats - our "children with fur".

Our cats get along well with each other, most of the time.

As you can see, our gang has a nice relaxing life - lounging all day in the sun and just hanging out!
This is Theodore Garcy Caissie.   He is 14.5 years old (birthday is on Halloween) I got Theodore when I lived in Calgary, Alberta, and he flew across Canada with me - carry-on and screaming all the way! (LOL)

He is such a cuddle-kitty, but sometimes he is a bit of a bully with his brothers.   He is definitely the "King of the House", and he makes sure that we always remember this.

An awesome kitty with attitude... gotta love him!

Theodore was just diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus on August 2, 2007.   He is not doing too good these days.   Theodore receives 2 insulin injections every day, and he is so easy to inject.   He reminds us if we forget to give him a needle.   We're working hard to keep him happy!
This is Preston Percival Caissie. He is 11 years old and shares the same birthday as me (May 29). We adopted him from the Saint John Animal Rescue League.

Preston is a very talented kitty that does tons of tricks - he fetches, jumps onto your shoulder (without using his claws), and he catches treats with his paws!

His favourite hobby is cuddling with David (which drives him crazy sometimes).   He is a very loving, cute guy; all the other cats love him (as does everybody who meets him)!
This is Louie Parker Caissie. He was a little lost stray who lived in a cat-house on our back deck for 2 months. Raccoons started coming by so we "convinced" him to move in.

He's been living inside for just over 5 years, but he is so scared of humans that no one can pet him or go near him. He can usually be found under the bed or hiding in the basement. He does love his kitty brothers, just not people.

Hopefully he'll come around some day and let us love him.
We kind-of had another cat - Jorge Papageorgio!   He was a fierce, mean-looking guy (but he was so cute!) who lived in our backyard for about 2 years.

He was orange and white, and looked so much like Theodore.   He was very timid, and we could get close to him.   We put food and water for him on our back deck, and a little kitty shelter/house with 2 comfy kitty beds & blankets (where he loved to sleep in the cold winters).

Unfortunately, Jorge has been MIA for 2.5 years.   We have not seen him and we are quite worried about him.   We miss our little outdoor kitty.

Here are a couple of Jorge pics:

Here's Theodore in his kennel in the car as we head to the vet on August 2 - he was diagnosed with diabetes that day.
Diagnosis Day - "D" Day
Theodore (the King) being held by his daddy.
Theodore hanging out on the couch in our upstairs living room.   He loves being with me and his daddy.
Theodore loves being held; this is one of his favourite activities!
Theodore hanging out on the stairs, looking so cute.
This pic is a bit blurry, but you can see how content Theodore is, just hanging out with his dad.

Here's Louie, looking scared because Dave and I are in the same room as he him.   He is such a "Chicken Little", but he is so adorable!
Yup, Louie is looking scared in this pic too.
Louie hanging out in his little kitty bed.   I had to zoom in from across the room for this pic.

Here is sweet little Preston - our cuddle kitty.
Preston trying to get some sleep (as usual) but we kept bothering him with the camera.
A bit stretch from a little kitty.
Preston pausing to pose for another pic
Here's Preston (in Louie's bed) with his little pink tongue hanging out!
Preston looks so adorable in this pic.   Doesn't he have the cutest little furry face?

We feed a lot of stray cats in our neighbourhood.   In March, a cute little gal showed up.   When Dave opened our back door, she marched right in.   A trip to the vet and $300 later, we decided to keep her.

Here is "Leia Penelope", our little Princess!
Here she is outside in David's arms.   This is obvious before she moved into our home.   She lived in our backyard/ back deck for 2 weeks before she finally convinced us to let her move it.
Our little Princess loves sitting in shopping bags.   When groceries come home, she is so excited to play in the bags while we put everything away
This was a really cute pose, until she started walking toward me and the camera.   Almost too close
She does NOT like the flash of our camera.   She usually closes her eyes when she hears our camera being turned on.   Hard to get a relaxed photo of Leia with her eyes open.
Another squinted pic of Leia as she walks into the kitchen towards me and the camera. (notice the eyes glowing in the background? that's Preston).
About to attack one of their many toys in our kitchen.   She loves playing.   It's cool having a kitten again as our boys don't play with toys too often anymore.

Leia hanging out on the couch inside a Zeller's bag.   Too cute!
I adore her pose in the photo! She's still having fun hanging out inside a Zeller's bag.
Under the table in our living room.   She used to love crawling under there with her toys when she first moved in.   But I do not think she could even fit under there any more.
Our Princess has a beautiful fluffy tail.   When she get freaked out or scared, it puffs up so fat!   I love the tip as it is only white & orange; if I only see the tip of her tail, I cannot differentiate it from Theodore or Preston's tail!
