A view of one of the roads within the resort; the pools and beach are straight ahead, and the restaurants are behind me.
Standing at the edge of the beach looking towards one of the pools.
This is David and "Honey", one of the dogs who lived with one of the guys who had a little shop on the beach selling necklaces, beautiful scarves, and various other neat stuff. Very cute and friendly dog.
A sweet embrace with my hubby; this is the gazebo where they perform marriage ceremonies (I think).
Dave carrying "Shammy", my inflatable killer whale that I bought while I was down there. We brought it back and it lives in my brother's pool. Our room was straight ahead on the bottom floor.
The water was a beautiful turqoise, and the sand was very fine and white! I can't believe how beautiful it was.
You know it's hot when you see a dog seeking shade under a beach chair! Too cute.
They had a tour of the kitchen area one night. Super big and clean. They had dozens of pieces like this, made out of fruit and veggies. They were beautiful.
A photo of the main courtyard. The bowling alley is straight ahead; Tony, David, and I went bowling 1 afternoon and I was the only one who did not get a strike. :-(
The vendors on the beach; Tony and David refer to them as "wack-a-moles" because they are always popping in and out of their little shops trying to make sales.
The beach had dozens of little shelters with screens to help block the sunlight. We did not spend much time on the beach; we prefered hanging out in the pools.
A beautiful photo of one of the pools. Both the pools sloped down like a beach; they were awesome!
